Montpelier Community Gospel Choir - Workshop & Concert

Friday, February 21, 1-6pm

Join the Montpelier Community Gospel Choir for a workshop and concert celebrating the life and legacy of Gospel legend Harry T. Burleigh. The Workshop will run from 1 - 4pm at the Chapel at Vermont College, followed by a public concert at 5pm. This workshop is open to anyone who would like to participate; no experience is necessary. The workshop will be led by our new Artistic Director, Dr. James Stewart. Registration is required for the workshop. Suggested registration price is $40; a minimum of $10 is required to register.

Mexican Dinner & Silent Auction

Join us For a Mexican Dinner & Silent Auction

We hope you, your families, and your friends can join us for this Mexican dinner and silent auction, hosted by the Oaxaca travel students of Spanish 4 and 5.

This event is in support of the MHS Travel Equity Fund, and takes place Thursday, December 18th, 6–8 pm. Silent auction closes at 7:30 p.m.

This fundraiser will help ensure that all students have the opportunity to participate in educational travel experiences. Your presence directly supports our efforts.

There will be only 80 dinners available, so please RSVP to reserve your spot. You are also welcome to stop by for the silent auction only if you prefer. This is a great chance to enjoy a delicious homemade Mexican meal and take care of some holiday shopping in one evening.

Join us in Montpelier for our monthly Saturday Baby & Caregiver Meetup!

Our Meetups are a space to relax and connect with other caregivers while your baby plays and explores in a calm, supportive setting. Geared towards babies 0-18 months, our Meetup allows babies to play peacefully, at their own pace, with less stimulation compared to playgroups designed for toddlers and preschoolers. All babies and their caregivers (parents, nannies, grandparents, etc.) are welcome to join. Siblings can come along also!

Meetups are held outside on the College Green when the weather is nice, or Noble Hall Welcome Room, depending on the weather.

We understand how important our Meetups are, and how much effort it takes to leave the house with a new baby. While we try our best not to cancel, any updates will be posted on our Facebook page. Like all Good Beginnings offerings, these Meetups are free of charge to everyone.
